Shopping

Pier 60 shopping

Complete your vacation fun with some shopping. Clearwater Beach has a variety of nice shops on Mandalay Avenue and Gulfview Boulevard with everything from souvenirs and clothing, to surfing equipment and keepsakes, to everything else under the sun. Local artisans also set up shop along Pier 60 in the evenings and it’s great to support local businesses!

Indoor Surfing

If the weather doesn’t cooperate take the party indoors for some FlowRider surfing inside of the popular Surf Style store. The simulated adventure shoots a thin layer of 80-degree water at surfers at 25 to 30 mph. Wipeouts reportedly don’t hurt (can’t attest to that one) since the FlowRider has a trampoline-like surface. There are no age limits but riders must be at least 42 inches or taller. There are instructors to help out first-timers and all boards are provided. One 30 minute session is $30 but you can purchase memberships and save up to 50%.
